Yes, I know it’s early, guys. I am painfully aware of the time… But! The sun is bright, the air is crisp, and I’m off to another recording session at Mid-Ocean Studios… this time with Mike Swickis and Jaime Carrasco!
This opportunity kind of came out of nowhere, as I just happened to check my email at 5:44am after my lovely Rachelle left for work. The email was a delightful surprise and I’m stoked to be making music so early in the morning.
It was a just a little over a week ago that I was recording at Mid-Ocean with my friend Mike Fox. We recorded a short acoustic tune of his called Lorraine. It’s a little rough, but it’s nice to give a work in progress a studio treatment. It’ll make for a nice retrospective when the project has reached it’s final state. Anyway, because sharing is caring, and I care about ya’ll very much, here is the recording from last week’s session!
